Hypervolt and smart charging
Ask us about a Hypervolt installation, including the charging controls and solar features available on the exact model. We have installed a Hypervolt charger in Stapleton; tariff compatibility should be checked before ordering.
Choosing another charger
Prefer Ohme, Zappi or an untethered unit? Send the model and features you want. We will confirm suitability and availability, including cable length, parking permissions and any solar or battery integration.
Planning Your Home Charger
Start with your postcode, vehicle model and a description of your parking. If readily available, add photos of the closed consumer unit, meter position and proposed charger location. Do not remove electrical covers.
We assess the supply, earthing, protective devices and cable route. A garage at the far end of a driveway needs a different installation scope from a charger beside the meter. For shared parking, confirm the permissions for both the bay and the cable route.
Installation, Testing & Support
Your agreed scope identifies the charger, installation work, electrical protection, testing and certification. We explain the controls and discuss app setup and scheduling for the selected equipment.
Our installation workmanship is covered for 12 months, subject to our workmanship warranty terms. Manufacturer product cover is separate and varies by model. Confirm its duration, registration requirements and any labour charges in the quotation.

What affects the installed price?
We provide a quotation for the complete agreed installation. The charger’s retail price alone does not include the electrical work. The quotation should make clear what is included and identify any additional work before you book.
Example scope: charger beside a private driveway
A wall-mounted charger close to a suitable supply may involve a short cable route, the specified protection, installation, testing and commissioning. We still need to assess the existing supply and equipment before confirming the price.
Example scope: detached garage or longer cable route
A charger further from the house may need a longer circuit, a different mounting arrangement and agreed groundworks or making good. Tell us about gates, shared land and other services along the proposed route so these are included or clearly excluded from the quotation.

Will 7kW charging suit my car?
The achievable charging rate depends on the vehicle, supply and charger settings. We check those together; a higher advertised charger rating does not mean that every home or vehicle can use it.
Are grants available?
Check the current GOV.UK chargepoint grant guidance before relying on a grant. Eligibility and the application process depend on the applicant, property, equipment and installer requirements. Funding is not assumed in our quotation.
