Understanding Your EPC
An EPC rates a property’s assessed energy efficiency from A to G and provides recommendations. It is generally valid for 10 years, although a newer certificate can supersede it.
An EPC is generally required when a property is marketed for sale or rent, subject to exemptions. Check the GOV.UK EPC guidance and discuss your circumstances with the assessor.
