Planning your homebuyer EICR in Bishopston & Horfield

Discuss future loads separately

Share any available information about the consumer unit and the equipment you hope to add. An EICR can reveal issues requiring attention, but a satisfactory report does not automatically confirm that every proposed addition can be installed without changes. We can discuss a separate assessment for the new work.

What the inspection and report cover

We inspect and test the fixed electrical installation within the agreed extent, including relevant circuits, protective devices and accessible accessories. The written report records findings and limitations. It does not replace a general building survey or automatically include appliance testing, concealed wiring exposure or remedial work.

See our homebuyer EICR service for the overall process, or EICR Bristol for other property types.

Will a satisfactory EICR guarantee I can add an EV charger?

No. Charger installation also needs checks relevant to the proposed model, available supply, protection, cable route and parking arrangement. Tell us about the charger when enquiring so the two pieces of work can be scoped clearly.

To enquire, send your name, email, postcode and a brief description. A phone number and documents are optional. We will discuss access and availability before arranging the visit.
