Plan a consumer-unit change around your existing circuits

For a consumer-unit enquiry in Nailsea or Backwell, tell Kebbi Electrical Services what has prompted the change: an inspection finding, damage, additional circuits or a refurbishment. The existing wiring and supply need consideration before the replacement is agreed.

A replacement board is part of the work, not the whole assessment

Explain the intended position

If the unit is to move, show both its current and proposed locations. Cable lengths, routes, mounting space and access can alter the scope substantially. Replacement in the same position and relocation should not be treated as the same job.

Review what will connect to the unit

Provide the latest report and information about new equipment. Existing defects may need additional work, and a new board does not renew the circuit wiring. Ask for separate repairs or investigation to be explained clearly.

Confirm the completion arrangements

Discuss access around the property, the likely interruption and the testing required. The quotation should identify the proposed equipment and relevant documentation, with responsibility for surrounding building repairs understood.

Your quotation and next step

Send your BS48 address and safe outside photographs with the enquiry. Leave all electrical covers in place and explain any restriction affecting access to the board or meter.

Call 07943 951993 or make an enquiry to discuss the work.
