Kebbi Electrical Services assesses consumer-unit replacements for homes in Bristol City Centre, including flats around Redcliffe, the Harbourside and Temple Quay. Access to the supply is an important part of planning the work, particularly where meters are in a shared cupboard.

Tell us where the consumer unit and meter are located and who controls access. If a managing agent must arrange entry or approve work in shared areas, include their requirements in the enquiry. The domestic board and communal distribution equipment are not necessarily the same responsibility.
Send any electrical report and describe faults or planned new circuits. A replacement board does not renew the existing cables. The scope needs to account for the circuits being connected and any separate defects found during assessment.
Discuss which equipment needs shutting down and when the flat can be made available. Testing requires access beyond the cupboard itself. The quotation should explain the proposed board, additional work and completion documentation.
For a BS1 quotation, send a safe photograph of the closed unit, the address and access arrangements. Leave electrical covers in place; the electrician will assess the internal equipment.
