Commercial electrical work can include repairs to circuits and accessories, new sockets and equipment supplies, distribution equipment improvements, lighting work and remedial actions identified by an inspection.

Each building has different requirements, so we discuss the existing installation, operating hours and whether testing, certification or specialist advice will be required.

For shops, offices and customer-service businesses in Henleaze & Westbury-on-Trym, consider working hours and equipment that cannot be interrupted. Explain which circuits are used by essential business equipment and which areas staff need to access during the proposed work. A site assessment can help establish the most suitable approach instead of making assumptions from the postcode.

Send your BS9 address, a clear description of the issue or installation, and any available EICR findings or plans. Photographs taken without removing electrical covers can help with an initial discussion. Where appropriate, a visit is needed before confirming the specification and price.

We can discuss timing, safe isolation, operational disruption and the testing or documentation relevant to the work. Any specialist equipment or potentially hazardous environment needs a separate scope and competence assessment.
